What will I learn?

To be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Business and Administration learners must achieve a minimum of 45 credits:

  • a total of 21 credits from Group A
  • a minimum of 14 credits from Group B and the remaining credits can come from Groups B,C or D however a maximum of 10 credits from Group C, and a maximum of 6 credits from Group D can count towards achievement.
    • A minimum of 36 credits must be achieved at level 2 or above:

      • (There are over 70 units to choose from, depending on your role).

Achieving this qualification

To be awarded the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration learners must achieve a minimum of 58 credits:

  • A total of 27 credits from Group A
  • A minimum of 13 credits from Group B
  • The remaining credits can come from Groups B, C or D
    However a maximum of 10 credits from Group C, and a maximum of 8 credits from Group D can count towards overall achievement.

This course is aimed at individuals working as a senior care assistant or support worker in any care settings.

What will I learn?

To achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF), learners must achieve a total of 58 credits. 28 credits must be taken from the mandatory units and a maximum of 7 credits from Group B and a minimum of 23 credits from Group C.

What are the costs?

The fee is £2889.50. However, you may be able to pay for the course using the government-backed 24+ Loan? The UK Government introduced 24+ Advanced Learning Loans to help learners, aged 24 and over, in further education to pay the college or training organisation fee. Getting a Loan does not depend on your household income and there is no credit check. You will not have to pay anything back until you are earning over £21,000 a year. Once you earn over this amount you pay back 9% of the earnings you receive above this figure.

If you are a self-paying Student, you may be able to pay in instalments of £850 deposit and then 7 monthly payments of £292.

This qualification is part of an apprenticeship.

Achieving this qualification

To be awarded the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce, learners must achieve:

  • a minimum of 65 Credits
  • 27 credits must be achieved by completing the mandatory units,
  • then select the pathway units of which 13 credits must be achieved.

The remaining credits must be achieved from the optional units.
